What is your job?

Ordering, arranging, managing repairs and inspection requests, ordering parts, raising invoices, etc.
I also carry out preparations of recruitment, job posting meetings, and interview schedule adjustments.

What are your impressions of employees and corporate culture?

There is no distance between myself and my bosses. Therefore, I take up my opinions and suggestions without any difficulty. This company respects individuals’ skills and ideas/suggestions. Our staff are encouraged to improve skills in this environment.

Are there any difficult problems at work?

Generally, the number of repairs is on the increase in summer. I have to pay more attention to customers’ needs for quick actions. In addition, it is my important job to raise motivation of staff working in busy situation.

Is your job challenging?

I feel a sense of accomplishment when the arrangements for the repair projects are successfully implemented. I also feel fulfilled when the billing and slip processing are completed without any mistake at the start and end of each month. I am inspired whenever new jobs ae assigned to me. As an example, I feel happy when I am asked to atted important meetings with our customers.

What is your goal in the future?

I don’t want to be stuck in a rut at work. I want to focus on positive changes and improvemtns wherever possible. I also make efforts for our staff to relax more by taking holidays.

What kind of person do you like to work with?

A person of commitment, drive and energy

Regarding working conditions

Salaries. I believe that our salaries are directly linked to our efforts and achievements.
In order for staff to work for this company as long as possible, the company provides them with good working conditions such as a maternity leave and childcare leave, etc.

What is your work motto?

Regardless of work size, I always try to politely and seriously fulfill my duties.
Our job cannot be done by one person but only with teamwork. Therefore, it is important to carefully pay attention to both team assignments and individuals’ day-to-day work.

In charge of maintenance

What is your job?

I am in charge of maintenance work (repair/inspection) for euipment (freezing, refrigerating, lighting, etc.) in supermarkets and convenience stores.

What have you been learning from your senior colleagues?

I have been learning mechanical structures and replacement procesures of electronic devices, freezing / refrigerating equipment.

Are there any difficult problems at work?

In most cases, the maintenance work needs to be done inside the shop. Therefore, we must carefully and urgently do the repairs without bothering the shopping customers and the shop owner.

What is your work motivation?

I do various kinds of jobs every day. That gives me fresh motivation. Therefore, I am not stuck in a rut at work.

What are your goals for the future?

I want to become independent by accumulating experiences and gaining higher skills.

What kind of person do you want to work with?

Reliable person!

Regarding working conditions

We are rostered on watch/night duties. These work shifts are compensated by well-balanced rest/holidays and extra payment.

I am careful about daily greetings to our customers and to my work colleagues.

Construction Department

What is your job (your daily job flows)?

In the morning, team members get together in the office and move to the work site. After finishing the work, we return to the office and do preparations for the following day. We may go home if the whole job for the day is finished early.

What have you been learning from your senior colleagues?

I have learned refrigeration cycles and their mechanism and plumbing.

Are there any difficult problems at work?

One of the difficult tasks is to carry out construction/cooling installation work without delay because we have to complete the work during non-business hours from closing time through to opening time of the shop.

Is your job challenging?

We pay extra attention to our construction/installation work for newly opened stores.
We feel a sense of accomplishment when we have connected all the pipes over several months and have finally started cooling.

What is your goal in the future?

I am looking at better solutions and more efficient methods for our work. For example, can’t we do the same job with less number of people and less number of working days?

What kind of person do you like to work with?

A person who is always working hard. A person who questions a lot. I will teach him everything I know.

Regarding working conditions

I confirm that our salaries and bonuses are directly linked to our efforts and achievements.
Occasionally, we work during nights for a few days in a row without returning home. Of course, we get moneytary compensation for that. I am happy to receive my pay slip with extra payment.

What is your work motto?

I am always thinking about the future and act.
For example, we cannot delay next new assignments in the pipeline in any situation. To that end, we focus on the current project with proper procurement and management of materials, manpower allocation and arrangement.
